About Us

The mission of the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra is to provide highly skilled musicians the opportunity to perform high caliber live concert events that uplift, inspire, and culturally enrich its members and the community.

We were founded in 2023 on the principles of musical excellence, respect, and kindness.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Our concerts are held at the beautiful Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

We strive to bring a down-to-earth, enjoyable orchestral experience to our audiences. We perform the beloved masterpieces of orchestral music and music by underrepresented composers that deserves to be enjoyed by all.

While we are a new orchestra, we definitely aren’t new at this. Our members are professionally-trained musicians with an average of 32 years of experience!

  I am immensely honored and proud to be a member of the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra. The level of expertise, dedication, and overall talent of this newly-formed group, which spans an array of ages and backgrounds, is unmatched across the Valley. As a violinist of 14+ years, I am highly impressed by my fellow musicians, the executive board, and variety of conductors we have played under thus far.   This orchestra is one-of-a-kind, with top playing musicians from all across the Valley, and unique music selections for each program. There’s  really something for everyone to enjoy at every single concert!
It’s so great that we have a new community orchestra that’s made it their priority to provide quality performances at (in my opinion) one of the best music halls here in the Valley at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts!
