OUR IMPACT
Our current programs that help further our impact, and that have been funded by our generous community of donors, include;
- Our season series of six performances of beloved masterworks, new favorites written by diverse composers, and challenging staples of the orchestral repertoire
- The Scottsdale Chamber Music Series, a series of three free chamber music concerts each season
- “Behind the Baton”, our pre-concert series for those that are classical music-curious
- Free concert tickets for Veterans*
- Discounted student tickets ($10)
- Free concert tickets for those who can’t afford our $15 tickets
We have ambitious plans to expand our impact reach. We need our community’s support for the following programs;
- A commission of an orchestral work by composer William C. White written specifically for the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra and America’s 250th Anniversary
- Purchase of percussion instruments needed for upcoming performances
- A “Talent Development” scholarship program for local young musicians who study music performance at the collegiate level
- Free concerts for elementary and middle school students
- Free concerts at community locations such as hospice and senior living facilities
The Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra partners with VetTix to provide tickets to all branches of Military Veterans. Orchestra performances provide an environment that helps reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories, and encourage veterans to stay engaged with local communities.
Ticket sales from our main concert series cover approximately 50% of our costs to present our season concert series.
We operate in a fiscally conservative manner. All of our board members are volunteers and our Executive Director is also 100% volunteer. However, there are still expenses related to the production of our concerts that need your help and support to enable us to continue to provide our community with outstanding symphonic music performances.
Guidestar has awarded the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra the Candid Seal of Transparency. This means you can be assured that your donation goes directly towards our mission to bring symphonic music to everyone in our community.

Recognize a Musician
Your donation of $100 will provide a special acknowledgement on our website and in our concert program for the 2025-2026 season.
Honor a Chair
Your donation of $250 will help us provide recognition to those leaders in our orchestra that go above and beyond to help and support the musicians in their section with a special acknowledgement on our website and in our concert program for one concert. An exclusive listing with your name under the musician’s name in the program is reserved for the entire season at the $1000 donation level (limited to one per principal chair).
Sponsor the Music
Sheet music costs for each concert average $500. Please let us know which concert you would like to sponsor for the rental and purchase of sheet music.
Sponsor the Concertmaster
Your donation of $1000 enables us to hire a professional concertmaster for one concert. This is one of the most important leadership positions within the orchestra, after the Music Director/Conductor. Enjoy complimentary VIP tickets in the best seats in the house!
Sponsor a Chamber Music Concert
Your donation of $1500 will underwrite the cost of presenting a Chamber Music Series concert. Enjoy complimentary VIP tickets in the best seats in the house!
Sponsor The Conductor
Your donation of $3500 covers the cost of the conductor for one concert and all related rehearsals. Enjoy complimentary VIP tickets in the best seats in the house, a meet and greet with the orchestra, and a special dinner with our conductor.
Sponsor a Concert
Your donation of $10,000 covers the cost of one orchestral concert, to include the costs of sheet music, stipend for our concertmaster and conductor, and the cost to rent our performance facility. Donors at this level receive special founder circle recognition and access to special events with members of the orchestra. PLUS, an in-home performance from one of our chamber music ensembles is provided as a thank you for your support. Enjoy complimentary VIP tickets in the best seats in the house for the entire season!
