What Makes Us Different
We’re not your traditional orchestra.
Each season features six dynamic performances blending cherished masterworks, fresh works by diverse composers, and iconic pieces from the orchestral repertoire. We believe great music should challenge, inspire, and reflect the world around us.
But what truly sets us apart is our collaborative spirit.
Musicians don’t just play — they shape the orchestra’s future. During our first season Music Director search, every member had a voice. Candidates led rehearsals and concerts throughout the season, and the final selection was made by musician vote.

Concerts
Our concerts are held at the impressive Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts’ Virginia G. Piper Theater, which seats 853 guests.
Rehearsals
Our rehearsals are on Thursday nights, 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Season 2026-2027 will debut a new rehearsal facility that is more centrally located to more of our musician members.
