2023 - 2024 Concert Season!
Join Us For the Final Concert of Our Inaugural Season!
Join us on Sunday, May 12 for a musical journey “Around the World in 80 minutes”. We begin with music by French composer Georges Bizet that evokes Spanish culture with music from the opera “Carmen”, then head across the Atlantic to experience nighttime New York City through Aaron Copland’s “Quiet City”.
Next, Sibelius’ Finnish nationalism is on display with his iconic “Finlandia” followed by a quick hop to Russia to explore Rachmaninoff’s Romanticism in full bloom in the Adagio movement of his Symphony No. 2. We end our journey in Italy with a special celebration performance honoring the 100th anniversary of Ottorino Respighi’s masterwork “Pines of Rome”.
